Balenciaga Leather Pouch
A leather pouch from Balenciaga that’s only SGD53.56? Yup, you read that right. Made under license from Balenciaga, it’s definitely as authentic as can be, except the fact that it is made by a third party. Also, it is manufactured in China. Not Italy. Confused? It’s like Burberry Black and Burberry Blue, not made by Burberry, but by another firm that’s licensed to do so.
Measuring 12 cm by 8 cm, it comes in 6 different colours though when I check it out online the one in Peach is already sold out. I do have my eye on the one in Blue Grey (shown above) though. Will go well with my Balenciaga Weekender in Tempete don’t you think? It’s also being sold on those spree sites from Japan and linked to vPOST, and the more people order, the cheaper the pouch becomes.

I am very skeptical about it being real or even approved by Balenciaga. We have a fake Balenciaga here locally using the BB logo as well and the quality is beyond appaling. Highly doubt they would approve of it.
It's rather different from Burberry Black and Blue label in Japan as they use the same logo/check and in this Balenciaga instance, it's not the same at all.

Anyway I like said in the post, it is made under license from Balenciaga, and also made in China. For SGD53.56 you really can't expect too much.

@pris… i think i have an idea of what you’re referring to, i bought a balenciaga bag at metro paragon dept. store a few years back. i was a little doubtful though because the price was not what you would expect for a balenciaga -it wasn’t as steep as the usual city/work/motorcycle styles.
i sent some pics to bagaholicboy and he surmised that the bag could have been manufactured by a licensed third party (like the pouches above). but i must say that my bag was also made of very, very nice leather, the craftmanship was impeccable, and there was a ‘made in italy’ tag with serial number as well as the ‘BB’ logo in front (like the one above). i don’t think quality was compromised at all.
oops sorry, my mistake, not ‘made in italy’ but ‘paris’.
