Bagaholicboy Muses #111 – Travel With Louis
I love looking at old images, especially those that take you back decades and allows you a glance into an era gone by. This one, simply titled ‘Travel With Louis‘ is from Vogue’s archives that date back to 1954, shot by John Rawlings with the Empire State Building looming in the background. It is also available for sale at Condé Nast Store, which has thousands of imagery online.
Perhaps because I’m leaving for a long holiday soon, or perhaps because the older you get, the further you look back, or even perhaps because there’s luggage from Louis Vuitton in the image, it somehow speaks volumes to me.
