Fall-Winter 2009 Bally Ad Campaign
Yes folks, that’s Christy Turlington in the new Fall-Winter 2009 Bally ad campaign, along with model Oriol Elacho. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, Brian Atwood describes the campaign as ‘the intention to show a couple who exude effortless elegance and an alluring richness stemming from a passion for the highest quality’.
Huh? I’m pretty sure those can’t be Mr Atwood’s exact words, and it must have gotten convoluted along the way.
What caught my eye however (and not ‘the precision of the architectural details and purity of elements such as polished stone, brass and marble; transmit an inner calmness and confidence’ according to the press release) was the bag that Oriol is carrying.
Have I been looking at so many bags this year that my eyes are playing tricks on me? Why does it look so vaguely familiar to something I’ve already seen? This is the Bally Villasor-S by the way (for those of you who are keen). I like it too, but why am I getting that feeling of deja-vu?
Here’s another model, the Bally Villasor-F. Am I really losing it? And before I go, in case any of you ladies are keen on the large hobo that Christy is toting, it’s called the Bally Kiky-E.

This looks like a carbon copy of the Hermes Drag, As seem on Joe's blog. They look like long lost sibling truthfully .
i wouldn't mind the Villasor-F myself. as long as the price is right. i won't pay LV prices for Bally. might as well wait for the sales.
