Bagaholicboy Muses #65 – Meet The Roberts

April 16, 2009   |   6 Comments

If (and I am just musing here) Robert Duffy had married and had 3 daughters, they would be named Lesley, Jennifer and Debbie. Lesley, in her early 20s and the oldest of the lot, takes fashion most seriously and experiments with the wildest combinations, taking it in her stride even when it comes out looking wrong.

Jennifer, the middle child, likes to mix up the classics with the trendy and actually gets away with it.

The youngest, Debbie just likes everything small and cutesy, and as long as she can wear it across her body like a grown-up she’s happy. And the tassels help too, something for her to play with whenever she is bored.

From top to bottom the Marc Jacobs Robert Lesley (SGD3050 or so), the Marc Jacobs Robert Jennifer (SGD5025 or so) and last but not least, the Marc Jacobs Robert Debbie (SGD1530 or so).

i love these bags ! so cute and fresh and funky at the same time . i was passing by the carlo rino store at tampines 1 and its amazing the knockoffs they get away with . That said the bags are gorgeous .

Carlo Rino too? I saw the knockoffs at Charles&Keith too! Shame shame shame…

  • Gregory says:

I saw the ones at charles % keith too but at least theirs seems more like an homage , the ones at Carlo Rino are carbon copies right down to the folded, flower tassels .

i’ve never been this amazed by Marc Jacobs bags until now. very, very nice.

  • Christina says:

The Jennifer strangely reminds me of a not-so-classic-flap Chanel. Must be the squares looking like quilting!

Really like the Debbie! Too bad i think i’m too old to pull it off :(

  • From The Bagaholicboy That Hails From Singapore says:

Yeah Christina, I think the chain-links also resemble something from Chanel, hence the deja-vu…
