Update – Nokia E71

Remember the Nokia E71 that was sent to me by WOM World for a trial run? Well the DHL man came by last week to pick it up and I finally made up my mind to commit. Yup, I decided to get myself a Nokia E71 as well. I signed on with Singtel and got myself the one in Black Steel (a birthday treat to myself), which also happens to be a newly launched colourway.

So why did I do it? Well for starters I love the way it looks and feels. It also comes packed enough features for me to play with as and when I choose. Need to check email? Not a problem, with either my 3G allotment or with wireless internet. Surf the web? Ditto. I also love the fact that I can change modes (and use one side for blog stuff and the other for work) though I am still trying to get the hang of it. The camera ain’t half bad too, good enough for the basics, at 3.2 megapixel. Yes it could be better, but I’m not complaining.

Looks count too. Slim, slick and stylish, it comes with its own dedicated slip-casing, which does not happen with most other Nokia mobiles. All I needed to do was to add on my mobile strap accessory and I’m set (yes the Nokia E71 does come with it’s own strap but I needed something longer).
