Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Angèle
This just in, the new Louis Vuitton Monogram Mini Lin Angèle in Ebony (14.1″ by 13″) which I saw last night at DFS Scottswalk Galleria with the gang. Though it did remind me of the bags from the Cruise 2008 Womens Louis Vuitton collection at first glance, I was soon smitten by her details that included the long zipper tassels and the unusual leather trim which is reminiscent of a woman’s corset (and if you think it looks familiar, that’s because it’s related to the recently launched Manon collection). Hand-held or shoulder slung, its versatility ensures that one can use it for both work or play, and at SGD1970 each, ain’t too pricey as well.
And for those who want to glam it up, check out the Louis Vuitton Mini Lin Angèle in Platine, which is exactly the same size as the one in Ebony, but priced at SGD2170 instead. It is being touted as a seasonal release which is why it is also SGD200 more than the one in Ebony.
Guys, fret not. There is something new for you as well. If you are looking for a small sling bag, check out the Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Brooklyn PM which retails for SGD1280. It’s almost squarish and comes with a front flap closure that is also magnetised. There is a LV Inventeur plaque on the flap as well, in the form of embossed leather which is also rather nice.
